Norcode invited two English-speaking representatives (six persons all together) from RIAV, VCPMC and VLCC to Oslo, Norway from October 12 to 18, 2008.
Funding for one person from each organisation was secured by Norcode, and the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs provided funds for an additional person from each organisation.
The purpose of the visit was to study the Norwegian copyright system, including the Norwegian state book purchase scheme & the Norwegian public lending right scheme, the management of audio-visual Rights (Norwaco), the management of reprographic rights (Kopinor), the collective management of visual arts in Norway (Bono), the licensing of musical author´s performances (TONO) and the management of the rights of producers/performers in sound recordings (GRAMO).
